It was also the first to use what was then the most advanced Technicolor film process. While it was in production, Disney's rivals called Snow White "Disney's Folly." Walt's wife, Lillian, and brother, Roy, both tried to talk him out of doing it. But Walt had the last laugh, the first of many more he would have over the years.
