The Face He Wore to the Party
Leatherface spent decades as horror's most unsettling paradox: a massive, chainsaw-wielding killer who stopped to put on makeup. But we can totally understand why his acclaimed "pretty woman" mask is such a fan-favorite. Is this the one he wore when he wanted to look his best? Maybe it's just the secret trick to skipping the morning ritual of getting ready... at quite the unforgivable price. This animatronic captures the contradiction of pretty and terrifying at a scale that commands a room, so bring home the massacre in a beautiful way.
Design & Details
Standing just under 7 feet tall, this figure features a molded hand, head, and chainsaw, finished with a latex-painted mask and synthetic fiber wig. The chainsaw port supports fog effects, and vibration from the audio system shakes the entire animatronic as if the saw is actually running. Plan for extra ceiling clearance when the arms go up.
Both hands raise suddenly overhead in a jumpscare move paired with Leatherface's signature growls, moans, and scream audio. Weighing down the metal frame adds stability during activation. Leave at least two feet of additional vertical space to account for the raised chainsaw at full extension.
Saw You Coming
Your guests will hear this one before they see it, which is arguably worse. The chainsaw audio kicks in, the fog rolls out of the saw port, and then the arms go up. That sequence of events tends to produce reactions that are genuinely worth filming. Set it near your entry and let Leatherface handle the welcome committee duties.
