Design & Details
The red and white striped dress has a zipper up the back and plenty of vintage circus flair with a twisted edge. Narrow shoulder straps support the fitted bodice, while an off-the-shoulder side strap adds a hint of unhinged elegance. The bust is ruched for texture, and two tulle rosettes on the front serve full freak-show realness.
The jagged hemline of the gathered skirt creates a tattered, worn-in look, with a black tulle underskirt for extra volume (and a touch of menace). The foam-backed collar is pleated for that classic clown silhouette and secures at the back with a hook and loop fastener. The fingerless gloves feature ruffled cuffs—practical for pointing ominously or applying eyeliner in the mirror for dramatic effect.
And then there’s the hat: a cone-shaped foam piece with a vertical line of tulle rosettes down the front. It comes with elastic loops to either pin into your hair or slide over a headband, depending on how much bounce you're bringing to the big top.
