The Plus Size Women's Premium Wizard of Oz Glinda Costume is an officially licensed dress, necklace, and crown set designed for adults who want a polished, detailed take on the most powerful witch in Oz.
Glinda never showed up looking halfway put together. She descended in a bubble, wearing a gown that made everyone in the room reconsider their life choices. That energy is the entire assignment here, and this costume takes it seriously.
Design & Details
The in-house design team clearly thought hard about layering on this one. The stretch jersey knit base and sleeves are topped with a crystal organza bodice, glitter tulle skirt, and a stiff tulle underskirt that gives the silhouette exactly the volume Glinda would demand. Butterfly appliques land on the sleeves and shoulders, and a decorative piece anchors the center front.
The jersey knit necklace features a butterfly at the front and ties at the back for a clean, adjustable fit. The iridescent vinyl crown comes finished with rhinestone details, because a crown without rhinestones is just a headband. A center back zipper makes getting in and out significantly less dramatic than the yellow brick road.
