The eyes can be set to constant ON mode, so you don't have to rely on the motion sensor at all. To switch between modes, try toggling the setting behind the right eye, which is also where the battery compartment is located. Since that compartment requires a Phillips-head screwdriver to open, it's worth swapping in three fresh LR44 button batteries, as the demo batteries included from the factory are often low right out of the box.(AI Generated Answer)
