Height 5 ft 8 in | Weight 180 lbs | Size LargeI am 5 feet 8.5 inches tall and weight 180 lbs. My chest measures 40 inches, waist 42 inches at the navel. I usually wear a waist size 36 or 38 pant and have the inseam changed to 29 inches, although I sometimes wear a 30 inch inseam jean.
I ordered the large size of the Men's Elite Captain Hook Costume. The fit was perfect for me. The inner robe with white frilly sleeves set very well, but perhaps a bit short on the sleeve. The buttons did up well without any snugness. The outer coat fit me very well. It is designed to not be closed or buttoned up; there are buttons on one side but no buttonholes on the other side. The pants waist could be stretched to fit a larger person but was just fine for me; not too tight. The pants were a bit too long but once on and pulled up were just fine. The fake boot tops complete the look and do the job well, covering the longer pant leg and fitting over my black shoes.. As with all mail-order closing, I am generally concerned that the size will not be correct; in this case, the costume fit me very well (5 ft 8 in and 180 lbs).
