Overall, it's a good-looking costume, but the robe dress portion is quite narrow and made from fabric that isn't stretchy and has no give. It made it harder for my son to get it on and off independently, and it did rip after one use. I would say that the costume runs small, considering a size medium can sometimes be roomy for my kid and it was fairly snug. Keeping the bird mask on evenly under the black headpiece was also challenging and we ended up adding some velcro to keep it in place better. Also, we paid the extra for the walking stick prop and although it was expensive and not well-made either, requiring electrical tape to keep it together, but it was a good purchase because it helped him to gage going up and down all the stairs in the dark during trick or treating. I would say it was worth the extra money spent.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
