Charon's Light
Legends tell of the boatman that guides souls from one side of the River Styx to the other. He is the only entity out there who can press back the swarming darkness of the Underworld and allow passage through the winding ways. Of course, once in a while, a mortal might be able to convince the ferryman to share a bit of that light.
