Resolution is the number of pixels used to display an image. More pixels are used to create higher resolution images making them appear more crisp and clean when printed. A low resolution image will lead to mask prints that resemble the left side of the image below.

We warn users of image quality issues for uploads below 875 pixels wide by 1000 pixels high.  We consider this resolution a bare minimum for printing. In general, the more resolution your image has, the better your printed mask will look. For best results your image resolution should be 300 pixels per inch at the size you want to print. The printed area of a regular mask is 9 inches wide by 12 inches high and for jumbo masks it is 12 inches wide by 16 inches high.
